World of Tanks - Before You Go Into Battle

Before you go into battle you should ask yourself if you are really prepared to engage and fight with the others. You have to be sure that you have enough ammo, that your tank is repaired and is fully functional or if do you have the crew members that are required. Happily the creators made things easy for you to notice this sort of things, but sometimes, even so you may miss to take care of these important things.

Things regarding Battle Types

You will find that there are various types of battles after you engaged onto one. You can learn more on your loading screen, but if you missed it there you can always press "Tab" to read the information you need about the battle you are in. The first battle type is the Standard type. Things are very straight forward here, the classical game with two teams where one of the teams defends the base and the other have to capture the base or to banish each enemy from the map. You have to do all of this, as a team, in a time limit of 15 minutes.

Encounter Battles

This type of battle is pretty much like the previous one, but it's available only for Tier 4 tanks or above. On this particular type there is a base that does not belog to any team and both of team have to capture the base in order to be victorious or to entirely kill the opposite team.

Next Level - Assault Battles

Unfortunately this type of battle is available only for Tier 6 and it is almost as the same as Standard Battle, only here you have to the things in no more than 10 minutes and this changes the things pretty much and being above level six new tanks are changing the defensive game as there are tanks created specifically for defending.

The last Type - Skirmish - Stronghold

Lately, was introduced to us this battle method where you have to be a clan commander in order to create a stronghold for your clan. To be able to create a stronghold you must have no less than twenty members in the clan.
